This comes after United made a third offer for the excellent midfielder, who has reluctant to commit his future to Stamford Bridge, and the Blues once more rejected it.
Another offer of £55 million, reportedly made by United, was reportedly rejected by their Premier League rivals.
The Red Devils are now prepared to end negotiations because they are dissatisfied with how the agreement is progressing in light of this most recent rejection.
United believe Chelsea’s asking price of £58 million plus a further £7 million in potential add-ons is “too expensive” for a midfielder whose contract expires in a year, according to a BBC report.
